Former Michigan basketball star freshman Ignas Brazdeikis announced his decision to remain in the NBA draft on Tuesday afternoon, foregoing his remaining college eligibility.
"I would like to begin by thanking the best fans in the world, the Maize Rage and everyone in the University of Michigan community," Brazdeikis wrote in a statement posted on Twitter. "There is nothing better than playing in the Crisler Center and it will forever be close to my heart.
