Battling foul trouble, an injury to Isaiah Livers, a raucous crowd and a really good Rutgers squad, Michigan basketball faced a big test Wednesday night at the RAC.
And the Wolverines passed it with flying colors, beating a team tied for third in the Big Ten coming into the night and improving to 8-7 overall in league play. It was the sixth win in seven games for Michigan basketball and the second win over Rutgers in a month. The first was at Madison Square Garden. This one, a 60-52 win by the Wolverines came at the RAC, where Rutgers was unbeaten.
