Most people expect the Michigan basketball team to be pretty solid next season, regardless of how things shake out with recruiting or the NBA draft process.
And one person that clearly agrees with that assessment is ESPN college basketball expert Joe Lunardi or “Joey Brackets” as he is sometimes called. Well, with nothing else going on, he released his first bracket projection for 2021 and Michigan basketball easily made the field of 68.
Of course, the national championship game was supposed to be tonight, so the projection comes a couple of days earlier than normal, but the Wolverines were one of 10 Big Ten teams to make it and Michigan basketball was projected as a five seed.
