Michigan basketball has done a lot of positive things in recruiting since Juwan Howard took over as head coach but in the 2020 class at least, it hasn’t paid off — yet.
Despite losing out with some key targets in the last month or so, the Wolverines are still in the hunt for some four-star and five-star guys. One of those is four-star power forward Jaemyn Brakefield, a 6-foot-8 standout that is ranked by 247 sports composite as the 38th player nationally. He’s the sixth-ranked power forward and top player in West Virginia.
Michigan basketball has been a player with Brakefield for a while now and his relationship with Zeb Jackson, the Wolverines only 2020 commit has only helped.
