It was not a big shock when last week when Moe Wagner of Michigan basketball announced that he was leaving for the NBA draft. He decided not to hire an agent, so his days at UM are over and now, forward Charles Matthews might join him.
After transferring to play for Michigan basketball following his freshman season at Kentucky, Charles Matthews had a stellar campaign for the Wolverines. He was their second-leading scorer and easily second-best player in the NCAA tournament.
Matthews averaged 13 points and 5.5 rebounds during the season, but took his game to another level in the NCAA tournament and because of that, started generating interest from NBA scouts.
