After an ugly loss at Iowa last Saturday, its first double-digit loss since the national championship game, Michigan basketball will be back on the road tonight and the destination is Piscataway, New Jersey to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers is far from a powerhouse in the Big Ten, but they rank 93rd in the Kenpom rankings and they sit at 4-7 in conference play. The Scarlet Knights are not in the same league as Michigan basketball, however, at home, they have already beaten Ohio State, Nebraska, Indiana and Miami of the ACC. Rutgers also won at Penn State.
