INDIANAPOLIS — One of the feel-good storylines surrounding Michigan basketball’s NCAA tournament bid involved point guard DeVante’ Jones, a graduate transfer from Coastal Carolina. Jones was one of the most coveted players in the portal after averaging 17 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists in three seasons with the Chanticleers, and he committed to U-M for the chance to participate in March Madness for the first time.
