Jaaron Simmons will be going to Michigan.
The Ohio University transfer confirmed to the Free Press that he is withdrawing his name from the NBA draft, which cements his Michigan plans as a grad transfer point guard.
The news was first reported by mlive.com's Brendan Quinn.
Simmons entered the NBA draft soon after Ohio's season ended and planned to see where the process took him with workouts. At the same time, he received his released from the Bobcats, exploring grad transfer options and he chose U-M on April 25.
At the time, Simmons said he was in the process of talking to U-M coach John Beilein about his NBA decision.
