Monday night against Maryland, Michigan basketball barely survived. Yet, Thursday night in Nebraska, in the Wolverines third game in five days, they didn’t have the energy to do it once again, falling to the Huskers 72-52.
Like the other night, Michigan basketball struggled early. In fact, they only had 14 points in the first 14 minutes of play. The first half was plagued with turnovers and despite a couple spurts of energy, UM trailed 32-21 at halftime.
In the second half, Moe Wagner, who didn’t score at all in the first 20 minutes, finally made his presence felt.
