A little over a week ago, playing at the Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan basketball lost its first game of the season, both overall and in the Big Ten conference.
Since then, Michigan has been looking up at Michigan State in the Big Ten standings. However, after the Spartans lost to the Purdue Boilermakers on the road Sunday, that’s no longer the case.
Now, the Wolverines and the Spartans are both tied for first in the Big Ten, as the two teams both sit at 9-1. Michigan basketball will be back in action Tuesday when it will host Ohio State, which just scored a huge, potentially season-saving win at Nebraska Saturday.
