Michigan Basketball: Three Takeaways from the Indiana Victory

Michigan basketball went into Sunday’s game against Indiana without a true road win. The Wolverines were also under .500 in Big Ten play, and worse still, the program as a whole has gone 1-17 at Assembly Hall since 1996.

But for a determined Wolverines squad with previous success against the Hoosiers, all of those stats went out the window as Michigan cruised to a 75-63 victory.

The win brought Michigan to 16-9 overall, 4-4 in the Big Ten, with the remaining schedule full of opportunity. The Wolverines still have to play ranked opponents Wisconsin and Purdue at home—a great chance to snag the quality win that has eluded them all season.
