Dusty May’s return to Assembly Hall resulted in a thrilling finish, as the Michigan Wolverines escaped with a 70-67 win on Saturday. Danny Wolf was phenomenal, posting a game-high 20 points to help the Wolverines secure a fifth straight win.
Michigan jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first half — and led by as much as 18 points — before allowing Indiana to tie it in the final minutes. Wolf stepped up in crunch time as the Wolverines eventually survived.
Despite continuing to struggle hanging onto second-half leads, Michigan found a way to pick up a critical road win and improve to 18-5 overall and 10-2 in the Big Ten.
