Michigan forward Moritz Wagner had 24 points and 15 rebounds in the Wolverines' 69-57 win over Loyola-Chicago in the Final Four in San Antonio on Saturday, March 31.
SAN ANTONIO — Moritz Wagner had just put the finishing touches on the best game of his life when he made his way back to center court at the Alamodome.
He was looking for Bill Raftery.
Michigan's 6-foot-11 German dynamo collected 24 points and 15 rebounds in the game of his life Saturday night. But along the way, flying for a loose ball, Wagner tumbled into the TBS broadcasting crew on press row, breaking the beloved 74-year-old color analyst's glasses in the process.
