Michigan Basketball reportedly involved with Iowa transfer Owen Freeman

The Michigan Wolverines are in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Tournament this weekend, but Dusty May and company have found some time to do some work for next year’s roster.

According to On3, the Wolverines are one of four teams currently involved with former Iowa power forward Owen Freeman. Arkansas, Gonzaga and Creighton are also in the mix.

Freeman entered the transfer portal on Saturday morning, less than 24 hours after Iowa fired longtime head coach Fran McCaffery.

Interestingly, according to HawkeyeInsider, 247Sports’ Iowa site, Freeman entered the transfer portal with a “do not contact” tag.
