ANN ARBOR -- Ibi Watson is returning to his home state. The guard/forward who just wrapped his sophomore year at Michigan announced on Wednesday via Twitter that he will transfer to the University of Dayton.
"I'm extremely blessed to announce that I am going to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Dayton," wrote the Pickerington, Ohio native.
Two weeks ago, Watson announced he would transfer. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder played sparingly at the shooting guard and small forward spots this season, appearing in 26 of Michigan's 41 games and averaging 5.
