John Beilein has apparently offered his first scholarship to a player in the 2020 class.
Zeb Jackson, a 6-foot-2 guard from Maumee, Ohio, tweeted Thursday night that Michigan had extended an offer. No other high school junior is believed to hold an offer from Michigan.
Jackson, who plays for Maumee Valley High School, is ranked as the No. 66 player in the class according to the 247sports.com composite. The thin left-hander already has offers from Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, and Butler, among others, according to his 247sports profile page.
Jackson made an unofficial visit to Michigan last weekend, per his Twitter account.
