When the Michigan basketball team made its run to the national championship, the reaction after, in terms of the program was similar to that of 2013. The Wolverines had momentum then and were supposed to use it to get the high profile recruits they whiffed on before.
Unfortunately, after the 2013 trip to the title game, that increase in recruiting never came. And now it looks like the 2018 national title game appearance isn’t doing much to help the current Michigan basketball team.
That’s because Tuesday, Romeo Weems, the top high school player in the state of Michigan, committed to Depaul.
