A fan pointed out on a UMHoops.com forum that Michigan basketball forward Mark Donnal is no longer listed on the roster as a redshirt sophomore, but instead as a true junior.
Michigan hasn’t made not of this yet, but Donnal was listed on last season’s roster as a redshirt freshman after sitting out the 2013-14 season.
It may be that John Beilein won’t want Donnal back for a fifth year and is pulling that option now, rather than later.
If you remember back to last season, Max Bielfeldt was reclassified to a senior instead of a redshirt junior, giving him the option to transfer as a graduate student.
