A look back at the history of Juwan Howard, the former Michigan basketball star, on the national stage. Wochit, Wochit
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Joshua Christopher had always wanted Michigan to recruit him. Even as he blossomed into a top-10, 5-star prospect in the 2020 class, that recruitment didn’t happen with John Beilein.
Soon after taking the Michigan basketball job, Howard offered Christopher, a physically dominant 6-foot-4, 200-pound shooting guard who pairs brute strength with finesse and elite athleticism.
When asked by USA TODAY Sports at the Nike EBYL Peach Jam on Thursday to list the schools on his radar, Christopher mentioned Michigan first, followed by Arizona State, Arizona, Oregon, Kentucky, Missouri, UCLA, Southern Cal and more he didn’t specifically name from a “long, long” list.
