MINNEAPOLIS — Michigan basketball’s road struggles continue.
The Wolverines jumped out to a double-digit first-half lead at Williams Arena on Sunday afternoon, but couldn’t maintain the advantage in a 75-67 loss at Minnesota.
It was U-M’s fourth road loss in as many games, dropping the team’s record to 11-5 and its conference record to 2-3.
Once again, the Wolverines were victimized by a Big Ten center. Just days after Purdue’s Trevion Williams scored a career-high 36 points in Michigan’s double overtime win over the Boilermakers, Minnesota’s Daniel Oturu scored a career-high 30 points on 13 of 18 shooting.
