COLUMBUS, Ohio — With the shot clock winding down and Michigan basketball trailing by two, Franz Wagner sized up his man.
Ohio State's Andre Wesson had the ball on the perimeter, with less than six minutes left. It was a pivotal possession: If Michigan came up with a stop, it would have a chance to tie or take the lead on the other end.
Wagner got in his defensive stance and didn't let Wesson blow by.
