It’s not a big secret that the Michigan basketball team has a big hole in its starting lineup where Jordan Poole used to be. But one player that could fill that need is Jaevin Cumberland.
Cumberland averaged 17.2 points per game last season for Oakland, a program just down the road from Michigan basketball and most importantly, the graduate transfer shot 39.9 percent from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-3 guard told the Detroit News that he visited the program Monday and was given an offer by head coach John Beilein that same day.
