Michigan Basketball is Lost Without Derrick Walton Jr.

After way too many shot clock violations and countless possessions of chaos and confusion, it’s become abundantly clear that Michigan is not going to do much without Derrick Walton Jr.

Walton is still trying to work his way back from an ankle injury suffered last week and has missed games against Houston Baptist and SMU.

The Wolverines were in a similar situation last year when Walton was hobbling around with a toe injury that eventually sunk him down the stretch. His absence, along with that of Caris LeVert, gave invaluable minutes to players who wouldn’t have otherwise seen so much time on the court.
