Michigan basketball's session Tuesday with reporters will be unique for a couple reasons.
The conference itself isn't special — Michigan usually meets with reporters in advance of a game (home Wednesday vs. Rutgers). But this will be the first in-person session; it's unclear why the format has been changed from a Zoom meeting.
Another uniquity: Head coach Juwan Howard will not be present.
He is serving a five-game suspension for muffing/slapping/grabbing a Wisconsin coach's face during a scrum Sunday. Howard will be able to return for the Big Ten tournament.
