The Michigan basketball team was never going to get much credit for beating the Iowa Hawkeyes Wednesday at Crisler Arena. But the win, which was the second in a row, at least kept the Wolverines in the same position with regards to the bubble.
A win helped keep the Wolverines off of it. Of course, Michigan basketball was expected to beat an Iowa team that ranks 137th in the RPI. Wisconsin, which UM beat Sunday, also ranked 148. The Wolverines haven’t got a top-100 win since beating Maryland at home and that was on Jan. 15.
