The Juwan Howard era of Michigan basketball officially starts Friday night.
Well, kind of.
The Wolverines are set to play Saginaw Valley State in an exhibition. It'll be their first publicly-consumed competition against another team. Last Thursday, they beat Detroit Mercy, 82-75, in a closed scrimmage, and on Monday, they scrimmaged against themselves in front of fans at Crisler Center.
