MADISON, Wis. — Michigan basketball had no answer for Johnny Davis on Sunday.
The sophomore star guard and projected NBA draft lottery pick finished with 25 points, including 17 in the second half, helping No. 16 Wisconsin pull away from Michigan, 77-63, and further hampering the Wolverines' NCAA hopes. Davis had six rebounds and three blocks, shooting 11-for-17.
Hunter Dickinson led Michigan (14-11, 8-7 Big Ten) with 21 points and five rebounds at the Kohl Center.
But after the game, Juwan Howard had words for Greg Garb and a shoving match ensued.
