Michigan basketball has no answer for Cassius Winston; offense lacks spacing

EAST LANSING — The chant rained down at the Breslin Center.

"M-V-P! M-V-P!"

On the court stood Cassius Winston, Michigan State basketball's star point guard who was the deserving recipient of the crowd's praise after scoring a career-high 32 points and dishing out nine assists.

The Wolverines can thank Winston for the long bus ride back to Ann Arbor on Sunday. He has been a thorn in their side for years, and played one of the best games of his career in Michigan State's 87-69 win against the Wolverines.
