Michigan’s John Beilein recaps 82-53 win over Nebraska, says it was a 'great bounce-back' game. Recorded Feb. 28, 2019. Nick Baumgardner, Freep
Michigan basketball knew at the start of Wednesday's practice that Charles Matthews wouldn't play Thursday night against Nebraska.
For a team that has struggled to establish depth all season, that could've been an issue.
But it wasn't. The Wolverines (25-4, 14-4 Big Ten) had no trouble with Nebraska (15-14, 5-13) in an 82-53 blowout, leaving coach John Beilein happy as his team approaches the end of the regular season.
“That was a great way to end the home season here," Beilein said postgame.
