DALLAS — As if playing the No. 19 team in the country on the road wasn't difficult enough.
Michigan basketball's charter flight from Detroit Metro Airport to Dallas for a Tuesday night game at SMU was grounded due to fog in the area on Monday night, throwing a cloudy wrench into the Wolverines' travel plans.
According to a program spokesperson, the team now plans to depart for Dallas on Tuesday morning for a midday arrival. The flight from Detroit to Dallas takes roughly three hours.
Michigan (6-2) is scheduled to face the 19th-ranked Mustangs at 8 p.
