The Wolverines added grad transfer point guard Mike Smith on Friday afternoon, solving one piece of their roster puzzle.
"First and foremost, I would like to thank my amazing Lord and savior Jesus Christ, without whom none of this would be possible," Smith wrote on Twitter. "I’m truly blessed and excited to officially say that I will be a Michigan Wolverine. Ann Arbor it’s demon time."
Smith, who played at Columbia, was one of the top grad transfers available. He ranked No. 11 on ESPN's grad transfer rankings.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound point guard was a second-team All-Ivy League selection this past season after averaging 22.
