Franz Wagner is getting a lot of hype from Michigan basketball fans and rightly so. The German wing is the first big commitment landed by new head coach Juwan Howard and his impact on the 2019-20 season could be huge.
Most fans and pundits expect Wagner to earn a spot in the starting lineup, either at the two or the three and with his ability from the 3-point line, he’s going to be a vital part of what the Wolverines do offensively.
His ability to spot up and knock down treys consistently will do wonders for Michigan basketball in pick-and-roll sets with Zavier Simpson and Jon Teske.
