Michigan Basketball: Former Wolverine Duncan Robinson goes off in NBA

When Duncan Robinson transferred to play for Michigan basketball from Division III, it was an incredible story.

He eventually helped the Wolverines reach the National Championship Game and while they didn’t win, he was critical, also in two Big Ten tournament championships.

Not surprisingly, Robinson wasn’t drafted into the NBA, however, the former Michigan basketball star was given a chance during summer league and he stood out. Then, he did the same in the G-League and soon enough in the NBA.

Now, he has a contract with the Miami Heat and Tuesday night, Robinson, who is a regular in the rotation, scored a career-high 21 points in 23 minutes.
