Chaundee Brown left a downtrodden Wake Forrest squad, setting a course for greener pastures, and he chose Michigan basketball as his destination. Around the same time, Purdue’s Nojel Eastern made the same pledge, and just recently, Nojel informed Michigan nation that too many of his credits didn’t translate, and he will no longer become a Wolverine.
As the clock ticked the worrying grew. Brown could be the piece of the puzzle that U-M needed to vault themselves into contention in the Big Ten and beyond. That piece seemed to be jeopardy, or is it?
