Last week, Jordan Poole announced his decision to stay in the NBA draft, which officially ended his career as a Michigan basketball player.
While the move was expected, it doesn’t make it any easier for Michigan basketball to find an adequate replacement for its shooting guard at this late stage in the game recruiting wise.
There were some promising options in the graduate transfer market and Michigan is still in the mix with Justin Pierce, however, Pierce is more of a wing, like incoming freshman Jalen Wilson.
Those could be options and at the end of the day, Michigan might have to play someone out of position or settle with lesser talent at that spot.
