Michigan basketball head coach John Beilein announced Monday afternoon that he is “not optimistic” that star guard Caris LeVert will play in the Wolverines’ next game at home against the No. 3 Maryland Terrapins. He cited the fact that LeVert is still struggling with a leg injury and missed Sunday’s practice.
Beilein: Caris LeVert did not practice yesterday. "I'm not optimistic for tomorrow (vs Maryland)."

LeVert’s leg was injured late in Dec. 30’s victory over Illinois. He finished out that game, but has missed the two games since: a victory over Penn State and a loss against Purdue.
