For the first time this season, Michigan basketball will have a rematch against an opponent.
The Wolverines face Iowa at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City on Friday night, just over a month after Michigan beat the Hawkeyes, 103-91, at Crisler Center on Dec. 6.
A lot has changed for both teams since then. The Wolverines have struggled on defense in conference play and will likely be without forward Isaiah Livers. Iowa, meanwhile, saw starting point guard Jordan Bohannon undergo surgery which will sideline him the rest of the season.
Friday's game will be a difficult contest for Michigan to win, considering the likelihood of Livers sitting another game and the difficulty of winning on the road in the Big Ten.
