Michigan basketball assistant coaches see significant pay increase

As of Friday, other coaches on the Michigan basketball staff found out they would be getting a pay increase.

Assistant coaches Luke Yaklich, Saddi Washington and DeAndre Haynes all received an equal raise of at least $55,000, according to the Detroit News.

Yaklich and Haynes will both make $75,000 more in their second year with the program. Yaklich’s base salary will move to $300,000 and Haynes will be at 275,000. Washington, who is in his third year as an assistant, will remain the highest-paid in his position with a $305,000 base salary. Each assistant can earn up to $78,500 in bonuses.
