Jordan Poole scored 15 points for Michigan basketball Tuesday night against Northwestern and none were more important than the two points he got for the slam dunk with 1:53 to go.
The score gave Michigan basketball a 62-60 lead and after a few stops in the final minute and a half, the Wolverines survived and hung on for the 62-60 win. The victory was the ninth of the season and it was also the second true road win of the year for UM, something that will make its already impressive NCAA resume even better.
However, that win came much tougher than expected.
