Michigan basketball continued what is expected to be a busy offseason on Thursday by adding a former McDonalds All-American.
Nimari Burnett, the former No. 34 ranked player in the class of 2020, announced his intention to transfer to Michigan. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound combo guard was a role player for Alabama last season and averaged 5.6 points in just less than 15 minutes per game.

He shot 36.8% from the floor and 32.1% on 3's across 27 games.
The Wolverines were in on his recruitment in high school — it actually served as a welcome to the NCAA moment for coach Juwan Howard who received a minor NCAA violation after he said Burnett's name specifically during a news conference before he'd signed any paperwork — but lost out to Texas Tech.
