There was certainly an empty feeling for Michigan basketball and other college hoop fanbases, who watched selection Sunday come and go without picking a field for March Madness.
That’s because, as we all know, the NCAA tournament won’t go forward this year. That decision was handed down Thursday, shortly after the Big Ten tournament was canceled. It has been a crazy whirlwind.
Just more than a week ago, college basketball was a full go. Now, the season is over and for the first time, really since it started, we will be without the NCAA tournament.
