The Michigan basketball team was up against a lot Wednesday night at Rutgers. Not only were the Wolverines trying to win in a gym that no outside team has this season, but they also had to try to and do it without their best player, Isaiah Livers, who didn’t suit up.
Missing Livers and then seeing his replacement, Brandon Johns, get into foul trouble and score just one point could have been a nightmare scenario for the Wolverines. Instead, guys stepped up.
Colin Castleton scored only five points, but he put down a 3-point play that helped turn the tide.
