With Franz Wagner playing for the first time this season, it was hard to know what to expect from Michigan basketball against a solid Iowa State club in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
Heck, playing a tournament in the Bahamas can make distractions a concern, but Michigan basketball was all business Wednesday and even though the Wolverines were sloppy at times, especially with the ball, the 83-76 win over Iowa State will look good on the resume all the same.
The Wolverines continued to shoot lights out, making 57 percent of their shots from the field as well as 47 percent from downtown with 10 makes, three of them coming from Isaiah Livers, who finished with 17 points.
