It was hard to know what to expect from Michigan basketball Friday night at Assembly Hall against the Indiana Hoosiers.
After all, it wasn’t that long ago that Indiana was the trendy team in the Big Ten with the talented Romeo Langford. Yet, that was before Michigan basketball beat them soundly in Ann Arbor. Since then, the wheels have fallen off.
Indiana came in the losers of five straight Friday night and even though the Hoosiers have been playing bad basketball, Michigan wasn’t exactly sharp in its last two outings. The Wolverines lost a tough road game against a solid Wisconsin team but then needed a buzzer beater to beat Minnesota after going up by 13 in the second half.
