Michigan basketball has played some of its best basketball at the Big Ten tournament the past few years and the Wolverines continued that trend Friday night.
Taking on Iowa in the Big Ten quarterfinals, Michigan basketball dominated Iowa, a team that beat the Wolverines by 15 during the regular season. UM knocked down 10 3-pointers and held the Hawkeyes to 1-of-16 shooting from 3-point range.
Zavier Simpson played about as well as could be expected, scoring 11 points, dishing out 11 assists, grabbing four rebounds and two steals. Simpson was also perfect from the field (4-for-4) and the free throw line.
