After two dominating wins over Iowa and Minnesota at the Big Ten tournament, the Michigan basketball team gets its third shot at Michigan State in the championship game Sunday afternoon in Chicago.
It will be the second time the Wolverines and Spartans have met in for the tournament championship with the last matchup coming in 2014, a game Michigan State won after Michigan basketball won the regular season title.
The Spartans denied the Wolverines the sweep and after Michigan lost consecutive games to the Spartans, which cost UM a share of the Big Ten title, Michigan can deny Michigan State the chance to sweep both titles too.
