Michigan baseball's Jordan Nwogu suffered an apparent left leg injury in the third inning of Game 2 of the 2019 College World Series against Vanderbilt in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Wolverines' DH and leadoff hitter needed help off the field after running out a groundout.
"He was saying his quad, felt it pulled," Michigan coach Erik Bakich said in an interview the next half inning on ESPN.
The sophomore and Ann Arbor native left the field unable to put pressure on his left leg.
Nwogu delivered the team's biggest hit of the season, a walk-off double against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament.
