After hitting something of a rough patch last week, Michigan’s baseball team entered this week on the upswing after winning two games against Penn State over the weekend. The Wolverines were looking to carry their momentum into their mid-week contest against Eastern Michigan on Tuesday afternoon.
This was the second time in seven days the two teams played each other, with Eastern Michigan collecting a win in Ann Arbor last week. This time, though, the teams played in Ypsilanti with the Wolverines looking for revenge.
Michigan came out hot to start the game, scoring twice in the second inning courtesy of a Benjamin Casillas two-run double.
