The Michigan Wolverines baseball team is officially having a historic season.
In the NCAA Los Angeles Super Regional, Michigan split the first two games of the best of three series against the top-seeded UCLA Bruins. The two teams squared off on Sunday night facing a win or go home fate.
The Bruins went up 2-1 early in the game, but a two run single by Ako Thomas in the sixth put Michigan up 3-2.
Michigan ace Tommy Henry was as advertised and cooled down the Bruins bats enough to finish the game with a line of 7 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 6 K’s, and 0 BB’s.
