Michigan Baseball Defeats Florida State 2-0 in Omaha

The Michigan Wolverines knocked off the Florida State Seminoles Monday night by a score of 2-0 in Omaha.

Starting things off in the top of the first: after Jordan Nwogu grounded out to third, Jesse Franklin launched the first pitch he saw over the right field fence to give Michigan the early lead once again. The lefty Tommy Henry, the only player to beat UCLA twice this season, took the mound for the Wolverines and pitched himself out of a lead-off double to leave the first unscathed. Michigan 1-0

Michigan had runners reach second base in the second and third innings but wasn’t able to capitalize.
